Shakira Says Kurt Cobain Was Her First Love
Shakira’s interview with Blender magazine has been posted on the mag’s website. Shakira shared her thoughts on her first love – the late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. “I remember the first time I saw him,” she revealed. “I saw the ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ video and instantly fell in love with him, even though I couldn’t see his face. I just wanted to see his face so much. After weeks of finding out anything I could about Nirvana, I saw his face – and he had a face like an angel. I loved him. He was my platonic love.” She added, “I hope Courtney doesn’t hear this.”

Too Many Divas Leads To Dressing Room Nightmare
May 22, 2002 – The New York Post reports VH-1 is having an awful time trying to find enough dressing rooms to fit the several divas to perform on their ‘Divas Las Vegas’ special airing Thursday. A source revealed, “It’s awful. You can’t expect Shakira, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, Cher, the Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks, Anastacia and [host] Ellen DeGeneres to share.” Things are so bad that the organizers are even considering Portapotties in addition to makeshift draped dressing rooms.
