While Shakira’s 2001 English debut ‘Laundry Service’ vaulted her into global superstardom, it also gave her the resources to put together a world-class concert. “It’s the production of my dreams,” she told Ramiro Burr of the Houston Chronicle. “It took 13 or 14 years of my career to get to this point. It’s wonderful to have this team of people working on my production. They’re the same people who’ve produced U2 and Rolling Stones. It’s everything I wanted to have artistically, and it really allows me to express myself the way I want to.”
