Shame On Janet Jackson And NFL
Mickey Herskowitz of the Houston Chronicle added his name to the people commenting on the Super Bowl halftime incident where *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake exposed the breast of Janet Jackson. “No matter where you direct your disgust, the NFL doesn’t get off the hook on this one,” he said. “The halftime production wasn’t obscene. It was beyond obscene. It was irrelevant, a halftime show for 14-year-olds. In its constant quest to top whatever it did the year before, by feeling obligated to keep raising the bar, the NFL has created a monster. The last thing the sport needed was a halftime controversy that overshadowed a game many believe was the Mona Lisa of Super Bowls.”
