While not declaring a set date for Christina Aguilera’s album release, her mother Shelly Kearns did set the record straight tonight on reports that the album had been pushed back to September from an original June release date. Kearns denied either date being announced from the official site, nor RCA. Shelly said, “The problem does not lie with Christina, her website or manager, because we haven’t posted any set release dates—ever, let alone having been the ones to change them a million times. Blame media gossip and rumors for that.” Adding, “All along we’ve maintained the same truth, that there is no set release date, that we are shooting for a summer release.”
