Shelly’s Home A 2001 Christmas Gift?

In a Star item last week (later picked up by UK tabs) that is sure to get Shelly Kearns’ blood boiling, the tabloid reports Christina Aguilera bought her mom a $1 million house for Christmas. They describe the place as a 6 bedroom home in Wexford, PA and mysteriously quote her saying, “This home Christina bought me is all I’ve ever dreamed of. This is the first time in my life that I ever got anything that I actually chose myself, of my own taste. I’ve always had to make do with the family hand-me-downs. This is beyond wonderful!” Of course fans on Christina’s message board would have heard her talking about the new home in July.
