Should We Blame The Market Behind Britney Spears?

There are so many stories on Britney and I thought that we need to challenge ourselves and ask a different question. What were the people behind Britney thinking when they signed her?? I know that when she tried out, 3 record labels rejected her. Then she auditioned for Jive and they signed her but not to a recording deal but a developing deal. In other words she had to prove her stuff. So she did the tours, kids liked her. She got a great song “Baby One more Time…” and bam surprise it was a hit. Ok so people where interested in her, mostly the younger generation. They played her songs on the Disney Channel and the Fox countdown for children. She did hit it big with the smaller generation. The show that exposed her to the teenagers was TRL. IF you guys remember her first time on there, she looked nothing like she does today. Long Brown natural hair, different face make up, different body, and different shy attitude. So the teen’s liked her video and song and she was popular.

Her first few performance where nothing like today. I’m NOT talking about the special effects. I’m talking about her dancing. She stood throughout most of her performances. Ok so maybe it was performance fright? I don’t know. But form the first performance she did something that most of the acts didn’t: lip- synch. Then there where stories about another Milli Vanilli up our sleeve. Critics going to her tours saying her lips never matched with the song. Britney’s people protected her by saying their video footage was slowed down. Ok sure.

So Britney or Britney’s people made her do a Rolling Stone’s cover. That blew her status up and from then on she became this sex performer and it was shocking because she was so young. And you guys know the rest.

Everyone own is blaming Britney for the lip synching but if you really think about it, it’s her manager and the people behind her that are controlling her career. When she started out Britney herself said she couldn’t decide or give her own opinions other then what she claims to be her ideas not he videos, but anyway they wouldn’t listen to her because she didn’t know nothing about the business.

So if you think about it, they made her lip synch. They didn’t care that she didn’t sing live as long as people loved her and she made money. Her market made her get breast implants or she wore 2 push up bras at the same time once, just so she can get attention. When Christina Aguilera came out everyone was saying how it’s the end of Britney. Well it wasn’t. Her manager had a plan. That plan was to teach Britney better dance moves and make her loose weight to get that perfect tummy, and they dyed her hair and made her wear sexier clothes. She stood out for that part. Christina was an act for older listeners while Britney had the smaller and the teen listeners.

So to make this short my point is we should protest or do something to the way they are managing Britney. If they really wanted her to sing live I bet they would force her too or else. Instead of the RIAA suing people for downloading free media, why can’t they sue Britney’s manager for letting a singer lip synch, and copy Madonna’s ideas? Because if that’s all it takes, then you can make any girl another Britney!

Well I think Britney is mature enough to make her decisions…and lip syncing is one of them. h*ll she’s 21. if she doesn’t have a say in what her manager ideas than she is exactly what everyone thinks…she’s a record label slave…or a record label robot! that is why Christina gets more respect from artists musically and vocally…she’s the only one like her. she actually tell her record label what to do…and what she’s not going to do. stripped was all her. she literally told RCA…”back the f**k up.”

Not quite. Britney Spears doesn’t sit down and post 20 paragraphs at a forum to pass the boredom like we seem to do. She trains and practices and does a lot of really hard work. She sacrifices a lot to entertain people and do what she loves. It’s a ton of work and not just any girl can do it. It takes a lot of physical and mental strength and ambition and willpower. Also, she’s drop dead beautiful and girls as pretty as her don’t happen that often. And whether people admit it or not, she can sing. Maybe not the best, but better than most normal folks. So I don’t think just any girl could be the next Britney. Even Christina who was being prepared to be the “next Britney” when her first album came out failed to live up to Britney and she has a much better voice.

You people need to get over it and get a life…I’m not even going to read this entire stupid post because I know all the crap that’s in it already. You obviously have been interested in her enough to have watched all the shows about her and how she came to be where she is today. If you hate her and don’t think she’s talented than don’t watch anything about her, don’t buy her music and just shut the hell up and get over it. I am so sick of people making posts just to express how they feel about a certain someone. I thought this site was supposed to be a news site, and a site that talks about different artists and dishes the gossip about them, not a post-your-stupid-ass-thoughts-and-opinions-when-no-one-gives-a-damn-what-you-think site. Get over it already. You people are just jealous haters and I’m sick of you all.

She must haven’t been the most amazing thing if record labels rejected her. wow… RCA came to Christina.

Actually, before she was turned down, she turned down being in a music group called Innocense. She wanted to be a solo star and she got what she wanted. No matter how she got it, she still went out and got what she wanted… that deserves respect.

^^by ‘you people’ I mean the people who are always posting these types of posts just to get their opinions out. Not ‘you people’ who reply to the pointless posts. and yes, it does take a lot of work to be the performer Britney is. And don’t judge until you have tried what she does. Have you ever tried to sing while busting out the hardcore dance moves she does?? Probably not. So you don’t know how hard it is to be her.

CHRISTINA TALKS A LOT OF CRAP AND THAT’S WHY PEOPLE DON’T LIKE HER ITS NOT CAUSE SHE “SPEAKS HER MIND” PEOPLE FEEL SORRY FOR HER. AND THAT’S THE CARD SHE LIKES TO PLAY, HEY WHATEVER TO GET PEOPLE TO LISTEN …… ITS A FACT IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO READ YOUR STORIES OR LISTEN TO YOU. YOU BRING UP BRITNEY SPEARS ITS KINDA LAME AND GETTING OLD. IF YOU PEOPLE HATE MISS SPEARS SO MUCH WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS THE FIRST TO POST SOMETHING????? Damn. who the hell writes this stuff? suing Britney’s managers for making her lip synch? what does that have ot do with the RIAA. for pity’s sake, get a life and stop obsessing about Britney. if you’re a good fan, you’ll like what she has to offer and take it, if not, that’s when you’re just a nut.

Wow, this is so stupid, suing Britney’s manager for letting a singer lip synch.. oh Oh and HELL NO, you can’t just make another Britney. She is one of a kind, a very good type of a kind, thank god. But I think her management made big mistakes in her career. I remember watching Britney in the ‘Oops’ era and she would sing live and dance a little bit which was still entertaining. She had a very good voice and was very likeable. It sucked that in 2001 she started to lip synch and only sang live when it was a ballad, although her performances were off the hook!
