‘Showbiz Tonight’ host A.J. Hammer talked to Us Weekly editorial director Ken Baker, investigative journalist Jane Velez-Mitchell, and Court TV anchor Lisa Bloom about whether Britney Spears deserved the show’s “honor” as the most controversial celebrity of 2007. In a later clip, Hammer talked to Kim Serafin of In Touch and criminal defense attorney Lauren Lake about Britney Spears skipping her deposition with Kevin Federline’s lawyer, citing anxiety over the media, only to be seen out at a gas station in the company of a swarm of paparazzi hours later.
