The New York Daily News reports that Staten Island-based Global Medical Relief Fund’s claims celebrities including Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake were supporting Iraqi bombing victim Ali Ismail Abbas’ medical care are being met with many denials. Carey’s rep says, “None of it is true. Mariah is very conscientious when it comes to working with disabled children, but no one has contacted us.” Organizer Cheryl Shuman clarified that promoters had donated tickets to concerts starring Carey, Timberlake and Aguilera.
