The Glasgow Daily Record reports Britney Spears has pulled out of the MTV Europe Music Awards and flown home to be with her mother. “She’s absolutely gutted. She was so looking forward to coming to Scotland and meeting her Scots fans,” a spokesman told the paper. “She’s got a severe throat infection and decided to fly home to be with her mum Lynne in Louisiana. She wanted to get some TLC and be looked after and not mope about in a hotel bedroom.”

I think the reason why she dropped out of these Euro things is because she’s scared Christina might show her up again.
Rachel — that’s not fair. The girl is seriously sick. Plus, there’s no rivalry between Britney and Christina; they’ve said it so many times, and so have their parents for freaking sake. Neither should be intimidated by the other; both are enormously successful.

Ok all of you saying that we should not wish her sick even if we don’t like her…We had someone post that Xtina’s father was right to beat her ass and she deserved it on a post about Xtina’s involvement for women’s violence causes.
