Simon And Ryan’s ‘American Idol’ Snit

Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, “Ooh, did you see ‘American Idol’ last night? Ooh, things got heated between Simon and Ryan Seacrest. At one point, Simon called Ryan ‘Sweetheart’ – then Ryan snapped and said ‘Don’t call me sweetheart’. And then Ryan later apologized, saying it was just, you know, the PMS talking but – you could feel the sexual tension.”
