Simon Cowell: Chris Daughtry Should Have Won ‘Idol’
Simon Cowell was videotaped at his after party following the last episode of ‘American Idol’ last night. Cowell was joined by three women, none of whom were his girlfriend Terri Seymour of ‘Extra’. When Simon asked the videographer Henry Trappler who should have won, he said Chris Daughtry, and Simon agreed. He said “I’m sure she’ll do very well” regarding Katharine McPhee’s future. No doubt Cowell was remembering the failure of the obese ‘Pop Idol’ season two winner Michele McManus when considering the future of a new “underdog” winner Taylor Hicks, who lacks appeal to pop music’s money demographic - teens. Lulop.com has since removed the video.
