The People reports Simon Cowell reckons only three ‘Pop Idol’ finalists are good enough to land a record deal – Susanne Manning, Marc Dillon and Kim Gee. He said: “I don’t think we’ll sign anyone outside the top three.” He added: “If contestants can’t accept a bit of criticism, tough.”

I hope Simon Cowell judges singers in the biz. I remember he said Britney would win on Jay Leno…then he said a week later on People Magazine he listened to her CD and completely changed his mind! I wonder who he was talking about when he said ” I must have confused her with the other blonde girl.” Christina was still blonde then, but he knows who she is.
