Simon Cowell Nearly Comes To Blows With John McEnroe

News of the World reports ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell nearly came to blows with tennis star John McEnroe at London’s 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel last week when Cowell, if you could believe, told McEnroe to stop being rude to the staff. “We both lost it and anything could have happened if we’d stayed in the lobby any longer,” Cowell revealed. “I’m sure we would have come to blows. I was spitting blood because of the way he was and he was ready for it because I’d rattled his cage.”
