‘Extra’ caught up with Simon Cowell to get a reaction to Clay Aiken’s People magazine cover, proclaiming publicly for the first time that he is indeed gay. “Wow, that’s a shock. It’s like being told Santa Clause isn’t real – unbelievable,” the ‘American Idol’ judge joked. Cowell added, “Good for him. If he said it, it’s the right thing for him.
