Simon Cowell Responds To ‘Are You A Girl?’ Uproar

Simon Cowell tells ‘Extra’ his comment at the audition by 18-year-old Zachary in Denver if he was a girl was not a joking matter. “I didn’t know what he was to be quite honest with you,” Cowell said. “Nothing surprises me anymore.” The “are you a girl?” comment brought a quick rebuke from GLAAD.
