Simon Cowell Says ‘Idol’ Negotations Weren’t Complicated

After months of playing coy, Simon Cowell, the judge America loves to hate, says he will return to his hit reality show, ‘American Idol.’ He tells Extra, “It wasn’t a complicated negotiation. It was over in a couple of days.” Reports put Simon’s new paycheck around $150,000 per episode. That’s roughly $5.7 million a year for ‘Idol’ alone. Simon says, “It’s not how much money you get, but how much you get back.”
