Conan O’Brien joked during his Late Night monologue on Friday night, “On ‘American Idol’ this week, Simon – this is a big turn of events – Simon said that Sanjaya’s performance wasn’t horrible. That was his big compliment. Yeah. You could tell Simon was just being nice, because then he said Paula Abdul looked sober and that Ryan Seacrest seemed very manly.”
