Simon Fuller Bullish On Kelly Clarkson’s Longevity

Caroline Sullivan of the Guardian spoke with ‘Idol’ creator Simon Fuller about the American version’s first champ Kelly Clarkson, who is getting introduced to the British public. “Kelly will last longer than most reality-pop stars because she’s an amazing talent,” said Fuller after her standing room only performance at a Piccadilly restaurant. Asked if she could ecliipse the longevity of Britain’s own Idols Will Young or Gareth Gates, Fuller said, “I can’t answer that.
