Sky Ferreira checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Thursday (June 25), discussing the death of her friend Michael Jackson. The 16-year-old pop singer writes:
I’ve known Michael since I was born and he supported me about my singing and has helped my family very very much. He was probably the nicest and most giving person I’ve ever known. There will never be another Michael Jackson. Ever. I was so fortunate to actually know him. He is one of the biggest inspirations of music. Rest in peace Michael. Thank you for everything you’ve ever done. PS Even if you feel differently, please have the respect to not say anything rude. I love you Michael. Please send prayers for Paris, Prince, Blanket, and his family.
