J.D. Considine of The Globe and Mail reviewed Alanis Morissette’s new album ‘So-Called Chaos’, giving it 3 1/2 stars. Considine writes, “There’s an urgency and heft to the music, a physicality that’s far closer to the adrenalized excitement of ‘Jagged Little Pill’ than to the cerebral groove that typified ‘Under Rug Swept’, her last studio album. These are songs that demand to be cranked up, rummaged through, lived with — but in a different way than before, because there’s more going on in this album than mere anger.”
