Sober Dad Prompts Britney Spears’ Quickie Wedding?
Some believe Britney Spears’ decision to move up her wedding date to Kevin Federline was in hopes of having her father walk her down the aisle. “It was really important to Britney to have her dad there,” a close Spears insider told The Chicago Sun-Times. Jamie Spears had just been released from a three-week rehab stint. He had checked himself in to deal with an ongoing addiction to alcohol and painkillers. “Britney wanted her dad there, but she wanted him there sober,” the friend added.
