PitchforkMedia.com reports Narnack Records has unveiled the ‘Buddy Series’, a 7″ album that feature a track from an established act and a track from a side A-approved up-and-comer. The first features Sonic Youth and Bay-area art-punkers Erase Errata, and both tracks on the disc are about Mariah Carey and her now famously fabulous breakdown from a couple years ago. Sonic Youth’s contribution is a song entitled ‘Mariah Carey and the Arthur Doyle Hand Cream’, while the Erase Errata track, ‘Glitter’, is titled for the Carey-starring film/album.
