MSNBC’s Jeannette Walls reports the Backstreet Boys are pondering whether to call it a day following recent band member marriages, A.J. McLean’s substance abuse, and a “really low” moral on their past tour, according to a source. The source says, “Their fan base isn’t what it used to be and they’re not having as much fun as they did. They’re tired of being also-rans to ‘N Sync. They’ve come to the conclusion that they don’t really want to do this anymore.” A spokeswoman for the band was unaware of any conversations regarding a split.
