Fans on Christina Aguilera’s forum at LiveDaily.com have formed ‘Survivor’ style alliances with Evanescence, Yellowcard and Maroon 5 fans on their respective forums, agreeing to vote for the other acts in the MTV Video Music Awards Viewer’s Choice Playoffs. Meanwhile, BritneySpearsForum.com has responded by pledging to vote for Aguilera’s playoff rival The Darkness. Many fans have boasted of casting hundreds of votes a day for Spears or Aguilera.
