According to Globe magazine, the Spice Girls only pulled in a measly $8,500 a piece in royalties for 2003, a big dropoff from their peak of $10 million a year. “Don’t shed any tears for them,” a showbiz insider said. “It doesn’t mean they’re going broke. Far from it. The girls earned Monopoly money for four years and invested – some more wisely than the others. But they’re finished as a group.”
