Pharrell Williams discussed Shakira’s new album and the process of co-writing songs with her in an interview with Billboard. “I think she’s got a huge career,” the N.E.R.D. member said. “She is a remarkable talent. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen her on stage. She’s beautiful. She’s got a sick body. I just felt like I’d take all those elements and let those things be my inspiration for the songs. Of course she’s a very talented person! We all here in Latin America know that, since her breakthrough album Pies Descalzos in 1995. I always knew she would be a great star as she is now.
