Stone: Carey’s Bit Of An Idiot, Lame, Pathetic & Stupid, But Quite Nice

Joss Stone spoke with Radio 2 about meeting Mariah Carey backstage at Live 8 on Saturday in London. “[Mariah] does come across as a bit of an idiot on TV, but she’s actually quite nice,” Stone said. “She’s all smiley and really lovely.” As for Mariah’s “this is my new single” shenanigans at the concert before performing ‘We Belong Together’, Stone said, “I didn’t want to sing my single because that’s really lame and pathetic and stupid and not what it’s all about.”
