Sheryl McCarthy of Newsday writes, “I don’t want to hear anybody else claim that Michael Jackson’s arrest on child-molestation charges was part of a conspiracy to destroy the singer’s career… It won’t wash. Anyone who’s tempted to dismiss last week’s events as part of an Establishment ploy to bring down a successful black man should back off. Since this is Jackson’s second child-molestation charge, it’s starting to look like a pattern. For years he’s displayed what appears to be an unnatural interest in children.”

What the heck? we all know that the explicit poems and letters written to the 13 year old boy was planted there. he even told the police the exact position of them. Michael is not as stupid as to sleep with 6 children in his bed night after night and molest them. gee I wonder why there’s only been 2 children who has complained in the last TEN years? what? did ALL those other children LIKE it then? I guess this family got pissed when Michael stopped buying them things and giving them money. FREE MICHAEL!

Regardless of the *alleged* molesting of the boys, when has it EVER been acceptable for a 45 year old man to sleep in the same bed as young boys who aren’t his own??? The man admitted it himself that he has sleepovers with them, this in itself, nothing to do with the allegations IS WRONG. Jackson is a sick, sick man, who needs to be locked up.
There have been more than 2 kids. 10 years ago there were other children that came forward. The prosecution seemed to have a good case – especially since photographs of MJ’s genitals displayed the distinctive marks described by the first complainant according to police. But the victims and their families seemed to all be turned away by a combination of money and scare tactics. MJ had a thug-like detective (now in jail) who has been said to use violent scare tactics to help celebrity clients, he threw around huge settlement offers, and he had Johnny Cochrane on his scary expensive legal team that nobody would want grilling their traumatized child. The media circus around this sort of celebrity trial would also discourage victims. Also from the info being put out it sounds like no anal sex is alleged, just digital and oral, which I suspect would lead to fewer complaints too – the pain and physical damage of anal molestation would have a greater immediate traumatizing effect on kids and leave symptoms their parents and doctors would probably recognize. It might take kids a while to even understand that the digital and oral WAS sex, since most parents don’t include that in “the birds and the bees” talk.
