Top of the Pops caught up with Sugababes singers Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Heidi Range, and asked the “replacement” member in the group, Heidi Range, to describe when she first felt like a true member of the group. It had been reported recently that Mutya and Keisha wanted to kick Heidi out of the group and continue as a duo instead. “Erm.. I can’t really remember. The first six months, when I joined the band, we didn’t really know each other that well,” Range explained. “When we wrote ‘Angels With Dirty Faces’ it was really hard for all of us because I was a stranger to the girls and they were strangers to me. There was a lot of pressure when we wrote that, but now I think we’re the closest we’ve ever been. All the rumors go round, but it’s a load of rubbish. We’ve got so much respect for each other, and we’re really comfortable.”
