Suzanne Mole and her longtime boyfriend Gareth Gates are now engaged after the ‘Pop Idol’ season one runner-up proposed to the dancer on New Year’s Eve. “I have some really exciting news I want to share with you,” Gates wrote on his official web site on Thursday (January 3). “After a great Christmas I proposed to Suzanne on New Year’s Eve, and she said yes! We are both extremely happy and look forward to planning our wedding and life together.” The 23-year-old singer and Mole, 32, have been dating for five years.
