Aaron Carter checked in from an airport with a video clip on his MySpace TV channel, where he talked about participating in a charity celebrity basketball game for the Hollywood Knights. Their trek started out in Minneapolis before heading to Reykjavik, Iceland, and then to Bergen, Norway. Watch the message below.
Kimble County Sheriff Mike Chapman tells People magazine that 20-year-old Aaron Carter was arrested for possession of marijuana after the singer was pulled over in Junction, Texas for speeding on Thursday. Carter is currently in jail awaiting a Friday morning appearance before a magistrate. Carter was stopped alone in his Cadillac Escalade and was carrying less than 2 ounces of pot.
In response to a video posting at YouTube [since removed] offering a slideshow of Aaron Carter’s exes – apparently he’s broken up with Kaci Brown – and Hilary Duff’s ex Joel Madden and current boyfriend Mike Comrie, suggesting Aaron and Hilary should get back together, Aaron himself posted the following message on his MySpace: “Everybody makes mistakes, but you live and you learn. Hilary when you’re ready. I’m here. I want to say thank you for whomever put this together. It means a lot to me.”

Aaron Carter checked in with fans from the Warwound Production Studios, offering a brief listen to music he’s set to put out 2008. The singer wrote in a message to fans on his blog at Myspace on Sunday (November 11): “What’s up everyone, so I know you have been wondering what I’ve been doing, where I’ve been, and what you can expect from me in the future … well, let me begin… I have taken some time off from touring, mainly for my love of producing. Producing for myself and for other artists. I haven’t stopped since I began, and I’m constantly learning and growing as a producer as well as an artist. I spend most of my time in my studio and I will soon be posting some of my new stuff so that everyone can see how much I’ve been focusing on my music. I’m currently producing my new album with another producer named ‘Notes’. ‘Notes’ produced my potential 1st single ‘Ride It’ that I hope to let everyone hear very soon! The Orlando Sentinel reports Aaron Carter’s attorneys want the court-appointed bankruptcy trustee now in charge of jailed boyband manager Lou Pearlman’s interests to release the contracts with the singer so he can get a full accounting of money he has made. “Lou and the bankruptcy trustee haven’t done anything in two years for this kid,” said Clay Townsend, one of Carter’s attorneys. “They’re not an asset to Lou. … They’re of no value to anyone.”
