Ace Young checked in with fans on MySpace last night after performing on the second night of his Broadway run in ‘Grease’. The ‘American Idol’ season five finalist wrote in a bulletin:
Tonight was great!
I want to let everyone know how happy you all made me with all the wonderful gifts yesterday. I have flowers and gifts all over my dressing room. Thank you so much! Your support always amazes me.

‘American Idol’ season five finalist Ace Young and some of his fellow stars of the Broadway musical ‘Grease’ rang the opening bell on NASDAQ on Thursday (September 4). ‘American Idol’ season five finalist Ace Young checked in with fans on his Zannel channel, talking about signing on to play Kenickie in the Broadway revival of the popular musical ‘Grease’. The 27-year-old is joining the cast on September 9th, and will perform through January 18th. “This is actually a role I’ve wanted to play ever since I was a little kid, when I saw the movie the very first time,” Ace said. ‘American Idol’ season six finalist Ace Young phoned Bret Saunders of 97.3 KBCO in Ace’s hometown Boulder, Colorado on Monday (December 17). Ace talked about getting a Grammy nomination in the same category as Bruce Springsteen for co-songwriting on the Daughtry hit ‘It’s Not Over’, plans to release a single in January for a debut album out in March or April, and his continuing charity work for Children’s Hospital.
