Alanis Morissette and her fiance for the past two years, actor Ryan Reynolds, have split, a source close to the couple confirmed to People magazine. Reps for Morissette and Reynolds could not be reached for comment.

Us Weekly reports Alanis Morissette and fiance, actor Ryan Reynolds, may have called it quits, although just recently the singer gushed, “He asked my parents for their blessing, which touched me so deeply.”

Alanis Morissette Recommends Sexual Experimentation’s Michael Musto caught up with Alanis Morissette for a Q&A and asked the singer if she considered herself strictly heterosexual. “I consider myself heterosexual,” she responded. “I had my years of experimentation, which were very lovely and I’ll highly recommend to anyone. I think it’s such a beautiful rite of passage to test the waters and get a general sense of who you are and what your preferences are.”
