Amy Pearson updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Sunday (May 23), discussing a song she wrote for Australian dance-pop singer Zoe Badwi. The 24-year-old pop singer, who was recently dropped by her label Sony, told readers:

Hi everyone! So many changes and so much to fill you in on!! My next release is FreeFallin performed by Zoe Badwi! I can’t wait for you to hear the track!! I wrote it with DENZAL PARK and it encapsulates everything I feel right now, freedom and excitement about the future! ZOE BADWI is an incredible artist signed to NEON records and you’re gonna love the track!! To everyone at Co. onSaturday night thanks so much for your support, it was great to be back on stage so close with the fans again!!! So I’m heading to the UK for a while to create some new music and redefine my sound, but will be checking in all the time! 2010 is gonna be an amazing year!! I hope you had a magical Christmas and an amazing new year!! I had another great Christmas in Australia and an unbelievable new year’s eve celebrating the beginning of what I plan to be an incredible year with my friends, old and new!!

2009 is set to be full of change and new beginnings and I’m so excited that it’s here!

Just wanted to wish everyone a great Christmas and a wonderful new year. I can’t wait for 2009. I’m recording over the holidays so the new album should be out mid 2009!!!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been back in the studio for a few weeks now and I can’t wait for you to hear my new music!! It’s been awesome to write again, so much has changed in my life since I wrote the first album and I think that shows through the music. It’s a lot more fun and confident and I just want people to turn it up and feel good!!

I’ll be performing at Melbourne Cup in November, but I’m basically living in the studio at the moment… and loving it!!

Just wanted to give you all an update! I’m going to Japan tomorrow to launch my album there!! I’ve never been before and can’t wait to experience so many new things!! I’m writing so much right now,this year has been crazy for me and there’s so much changing around me that I’ve been writing non-stop :) Can’t wait to finsh some new tracks and show you all, see what you think!
