Been a busy month for me so far. I took a road trip down to LA with my best friend Jesse and now I’m in LA for a couple months working on the new record.

Things have been going great so far. Just played American Idol Extra, that should be on television in the next month. There’s talk of me getting back on American Idol to release my new single, which could be sweet.

Tommy Boy records and I have been working away on this new project and it is sounding amazing. Been writing daily and I’m really looking forward to hearing what you all think, when the album is released.

It is almost here. They guys and I are so stoked!! We just spent all last week rehearsing and workin it out. We are more than ready to get out on the road and show you all a good time. I can’t do all the promotion myself, so the wonderful people at Idolbored and The B.L. Army are stepping in an helping me promote. Thank goodness! if I didn’t have fans like you all, I don’t know what I’d do. If you guys are interested in helping out, please get in contact with The Idolbored or The B.L. Army on my top friends list or go to www.idolbored.com.

On the road, I’m going to try and write a tour blog everyday and post it on Idolbored and here, as well as post bulletins announcing our shows.

As of now the tour is going to be starting in New York on the 5th at the Canal Room and finishing on the 16th in South Carolina at The New Brookland Tavern. The show at the Croc Rock, in Allentown has been cancelled. A new show in Connecticut has replaced that date. I’m now playing at The Mohegan Sun Casino. Should be a real fun show. Sorry to you all in Allentown. Catch the Northstar show in Philly if you can.

The boys and I are STOKED and we are ready to get going on this.

I just got back from an amazing trip to Iceland and Norway, with The Hollywood Knights, a non-profit organization to help raise money for cancer. We went to Norway to play some B.Ball against the Norwegian National Team. Man did I suck. Bshorty is no baller! It was an amazing, short trip and I met some pretty amazing people. It was a little strange, cause I felt a little bit at home in Bergen, Norway. Its a port and reminded me a lot like home, here in Washington. Posted some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Arista Drops Blake Lewis

The Bothell beatboxer writes, “I planned for Wednesday to be my day to rehearse for tonight’s Canal Room show, cause we were leaving on Thurs. to play Vegas. Ring, ring, ring went the phone. Iain my manager baring the news. Arista isn’t picking up the second option. Meaning, I’m not doin another record with them. I’m totally fine with this… I was just wishing they would have put the word out to me over the last couple months, because lets face it… Waiting SUCKS!!!! I could have known this 2 months ago, when all of RCA was going through their changes. Oh well. I guess the right time was now. No biggy. I’m still with 19 Recordings and I got a tour and new record on the way. Now I’ll I need is a home for my music. Some place warm and tropical… seriously though… Got to be a place where they actually respect my craft and electronic music. Getting RCA to do remixes for my record was like pulling teeth AND I had friends do the mixes for next to nothing. They turned out great and are rising on the Billboard charts. ‘How Many Words’ is in the top 40. HOLY SH**!!!! its currently 29. So freaking pumped. People been shakin there booties to some electro Brake.. hehe Thanks to all the DJs playing my song. Lovin you right now!” Read more.
