The rumors that Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell and his wife Leighanne are expected their first child are no longer rumors. Several personal websites posted the news earlier, but it wasn’t until this morning that people.com verified it. In the brief article, People reveals that the couple are expecting a little boy by the years end. The couple also hinted at the fact that the baby was a suprise, but “it’s a good time because our schedules are lightening up a little bit.” No name has been decided yet.

A close personal friend of Leighanne Littrell, wife of Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell has posted on her site that Leighanne has confirmed she is pregnant. This will be the first Backstreet Baby!
The Atlanta Journal Constitution spoke with Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell after he worked out with Atlanta Braves Kevin Millwood, Rafael Furcal, Andruw Jones and Gary Sheffield for a segment on an upcoming edition of MTV’s “Rock ‘N Jocks.” Brian said, “I got to live another dream out here today. Just the smell of the ball park is great.” As for how he keeps up with his favorite Atlanta Braves team while on the road, Brian revealed, “I have to admit, I had to teach Leighanne how to watch [ESPN’s] SportsCenter to keep up on the stats for me. She’s actually gotten really good at it.”
Makeup artist Scott McMahon tells YM magazine that Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell isn’t exactly his happiest customer. “Brian from BSB can’t stand wearing makeup,” he revealed. “But stage lights make you look sickly without it. He used to excuse himself right before he went on camera and just wipe everything off.”

Over the weekend, Leighanne Littrell (wife of Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys) won the “Rising Star” award at the Fort Myers Beach Film Festival for her role in “Megalodon.” The announcement goes on to call her a “model, actress, singer/songwriter, wife, and soon-to-be mother.”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell and his wife Leighanne surprised Star 94 studios when they came to visit Sarah Ussery, who’s mother has been battling cancer and her stepdad, Steve Ussery, had been recently downsized from his job. Sarah’s friend Danielle Kowalewicz read Sarah’s “Wish Upon a Star” letter to listeners prompting Littrell to bring a bunch of gifts to surprise Sarah and family.
The Globe is reporting comments from Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys after his bandmate’s battle with alcohol and depression. Brian thinks A.J. would have avoided rehab had he been married to a wife a good his, Leighanne Wallace.
Brian told the Globe, “The good thing about my wife and I is we can pack up, go home, and be away from everything. We’ve got stability. Some of the guys in the group don’t. I long for them to have what I have.”
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Brian Littrell joined the Commodores onstage during their Saturday performance at Chastain Park.
Littrell was their with wife Leighanne at had taken a seat near the stage when the group invited him up to perform the group’s hits “Brick House” and “Three Times a Lady.”
The event was hampered by a slight rain preventing a sellout, but the surprise appearance by Littrell no doubt made up for the weather.
