Britney Spears updated her Twitter followers (@britneyspears) on Tuesday night as the second season of ‘Glee’ premiered with a show that paid tribute to the 28-year-old. The stars of the FOX show covered versions of Britney’s songs while under anesthesia at the dentist, played by John Stamos. Britney writes:

Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Kaplan tells the Associated Press that claims Britney Spears’ former bodyguard Fernando Flores made alleging the pop star abused Sean Preston were looked into before he filed the lawsuit. Kaplan said Federline “is satisfied that the allegations are a product of economic motives. They are as baseless as they seem,” adding that Spears’ ex-husband would have stepped in already if he believed their children were in danger.
Britney Spears is out with a commercial for her newest fragrance with Elizabeth Arden, Radiance. The ad features the pop star sneaking out of an event to visit a fortune teller, who asks if she’d like to tell Britney her future. “No thanks, I choose my own destiny,” Spears says walking out of the shop. Britney Spears is responding on her official web site to the lawsuit filed by her former bodyguard Fernando Flores, who alleges the pop star sexually harassed him and witnessed her abusing her son Sean Preston. A statement on Spears’ official web site reads:
This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself. The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores’ accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts.
Britney Spears is facing a sexual harassment lawsuit from her former bodyguard Fernando Flores claims the pop star made “repeated unwanted sexual advances” toward him, including exposing herself in front of him in her home and engaging in numerous sex acts in his presence. Flores also claimed that on one occasion, Spears demanded Flores hand him his belt, then walked in the house and allegedly twice “savagely hit the small child [Preston]” with the belt. Read more.

Walker overturned Proposition 8 earlier today, saying that the California ballot initiative that banned same-sex marriage in the state was based on moral disapproval of gay marriage and ordered the enforcement the ban to stop. Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick could be headed towards marriage, a Hollywood source tells Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times. A spy said the couple were joined by Jason’s parents at LA’s Grafton on Sunset Hotel for dinner, and were talking about the Chelsea Clinton’s upcoming wedding. “They were particularly interested in the tight security and the way the Clintons had stonewalled for Chelsea’s wedding – and it sounded like they were talking about it all in connection with a Britney and Jason wedding,” the source claimed.
