Charlotte Church made no effort to get out of her car as she did some shopping in Cardiff, Wales. Instead, her mother Maria brought out a Jacob Kimmie dress to show the Welsh star on Friday (November 10).

‘American Idol’ and ‘X Factor’ judge Simon Cowell had this to say about Charlotte Church in an interview with Classic FM: “This was a girl who, in my opinion, with a bit of training and some work, could have been a massive, massive operatic star for the next few years because she’s really talented. To me, it appears as if she’s thrown it all away for this different career. She’s crazy.”

The People reports C4 bosses are so impressed with ‘The Charlotte Church Show’ they’ve extended her run until next spring and will send the singer off to America to land big name guests like Brad Pitt. “Charlotte can do no wrong right now,” a source said.

Charlotte Church tells Neil Sean of Sky News she intends to make an album of remixes. “I know that my gay fans love the mixes of the single,” she explained, “which got me thinking… What would the whole album be like with a disco thing going on?”

Charlotte Church and boyfriend Gavin Henson spoke with OK! magazine about her fury when the rugby star is mobbed by girls hitting the bars. “I’d been used to going out and having a little attention from girls, but with Charlotte this wasn’t allowed,” he explained. “She’d have a tantrum, so I said, ‘OK, I won’t speak to any girls ever again’.” Charlotte conceded, “I’m really jealous and he knows I can’t help it. It’s a bad quality.”

Living by a bar in Cardiff is proving to be a unbearable for Charlotte Church, thanks to many of the drunks knowing where the singer and her boyfriend Gavin Henson live. “People know where she and Gavin live and it’s a nightmare,” a relative explained. “People ring her buzzer 24 hours a day. It happens all the time – especially when the pubs turn out. And she is fed up with having to get up to answer the intercom because yet another drunk or weirdo has just buzzed it and run away. So now they have decided they are going to find a new place in the country so they can have some peace and quiet.”
