Too Many Divas Leads To Dressing Room Nightmare

The New York Post reports VH-1 is having an awful time trying to find enough dressing rooms to fit the several divas to perform on their ‘Divas Las Vegas’ special airing Thursday. A source revealed, “It’s awful. You can’t expect , , Mary J. Blige, , the Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks, Anastacia and [host] Ellen DeGeneres to share.” Things are so bad that the organizers are even considering Portapotties in addition to makeshift draped dressing rooms.

Cher Sees Britney Spears Giving It Her All In ‘Crossroads’

spoke with reporters at a press conference earlier this week about ‘Crossroads’ and USA Today was there. In addition, they spoke with about Britney’s attempt at acting and the musician/actress said of her younger peer, “I see Britney really giving it her all. You have to start someplace. In five years or 10 years, she’s not going to be who she is now. You polish it. You go two steps to the side and a step backward and five steps forward. It’s a life experience. Tina Fey’s Weekend Update Targets Britney / Cher

Last night’s Weekend Update included the following report from Tina Fey, “ announced this week that she would not be performing with on the young pop star’s November HBO special, because sadly, Cher has to go back to the shop for repairs. The two stars actually have a special bond, as Britney’s breasts are made out of Cher’s old nose.”

Cher Bows Out Of Britney HBO Special

won’t be appearing on ’ HBO special on November 18 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. revealed to the New York Post’s Liz Smith, “I’ve told Britney how disappointed I am because I am really looking forward to performing with her. We have been talking about this for over a year.”

Cher is citing schedule conflicts with her new album, “Living Proof,” as the reason, saying, “The European release date was pushed ahead and it’s impossible for me to be there and in Las Vegas at the same time. Britney has been extremely sweet and understanding, and I know we will do something together soon!”
