A teaser clip of Christina Aguilera’s new single ‘Not Myself Tonight’ has been posted at her official web site. The full song premieres on Tuesday (March 30) at 6PM ET. ‘Not Myself Tonight’ is the lead single off Aguilera’s fourth studio album ‘Bionic’, out June 8th. Listen to the 18-second clip below.
Christina Aguilera announced details of her fourth studio album ‘Bionic’ on her official web site. The CD will be released via RCA Records on June 8th, while its first single ‘Not Myself Tonight’ premieres on ChristinaAguilera.com at 6pm EDT on March 30th.
‘Bionic’ features songs co-written by Aguilera along with her collaborations including Sia, Tricky Stewart, Polow Da Don, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch, and Ladytron among others. Aguilera notes, “Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience. The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do combined with my own vision and sound. Aguilera got teary eyed talking about Jordan:
“I grew up not really having any sort of male perspective or role model and Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him everyday.He just exudes such love and is such a great father to Max that it makes me the happiest woman alive and I am lucky to have him.”
On fights with Jordan:
“Every couple has their moment when they disagree but I never allow any arguments to escalate in front of Max.”

Christina Aguilera has signed on to become the global spokesperson for World Hunger Relief. The Grammy winner will help raise awareness of the hunger issue this fall by appearing in a new public service announcement, advertising and posters made possible by KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. Aguilera will also get the message out by appearing on the World Hunger Relief web site, FromHungertoHope.com, and in other online hunger relief efforts.
“It’s unacceptable a child dies every six seconds somewhere around the world from hunger,” said Aguilera. “By lending my voice for World Hunger Relief, I hope to raise awareness about the issue and move people from hunger to hope.”
Sia Furler chatted online with fans at Gigwise.com last week, where she talked about writing with Christina Aguilera on her ‘Back To Basics’ follow-up. “Xtina and I completed 4 songs together with my mate and co-writer Sam Dixon,” Furler said. “We will be credited as co-writers, and I guess I did some vocal production and Sam did the other production. I call her the Mad Scientist because she is the most technically brilliant singer I’ve ever met. She scrambled my mind.”
People magazine caught up with Christina Aguilera at the Most Beautiful 2009 cover shoot, where the Grammy winner showed off her playful boy Max, who she called a “total ham!”, and talked about what beauty means to her and her upcoming album.
“I’ve been in the studio non-stop working on the next record,” Aguilera said of her ‘Back to Basics’ follow-up. “Super super excited about it. Completely different direction than the last, so I can’t give away too much too soon because that’s gonna be a whole other interview, but this is very exciting. Working with new people, and just the new energy and people involved have just brought out a different side of me vocally and musically.”
