Cobra Starship recently arrived back in the United States from a whirlwind South American stadium tour supporting Justin Bieber, where they performed to 55,000 plus screaming fans at stadiums in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Venezuela. “I was born in Uruguay and Its always been my dream to play in South America ,” Gabe Saporta said. “Being able to not only live that dream but to play for 50,000 people a night with Justin Bieber is something I will treasure forever.” Check out additional pictures from the tour after the cut.
Cobra Starship are set to perform their Platinum/TOP 5 hit single, ‘You Make Me Feel… (Feat. Sabi)’, on TBS’s ‘Conan’ on November 1st for a special episode filmed in New York City’s Beacon Theatre followed by an additional live performance on ‘Live! Cobra Starship are out with the music video to their new single ‘You Make Me Feel…’, featuring Sabi. The song is available now on iTunes and is currently charting in the Top 40 at Pop Radio outlets nationwide . ‘You Make Me Feel…’ is the first single off of Cobra Starship’s upcoming album ‘Night Shades’ which will be available later this summer on Decaydance / Fueled By Ramen.
Cobra Starship, featuring Gabe Saporta, Ryland Blackinton, Victoria Asher, Nate Novarro and Alex Suarez, paired up once again with director Kai Regan on the video. Regan also directed the band’s music videos for ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ and ‘Hot Mess’. Both videos helped Cobra Starship to garner a pair of nominations at the 2009 MTV VMA’s for “Best Pop Video” and “Best Direction” and a nomination for “Favorite Collaboration” at the 2010 Peoples Choice Awards.
“The concept of the video – it is a party – but that’s just an environment. We just wanted to be fun and that’s a good context. The video is about the photo booth. It’s just not any photo booth; it’s a photo booth that tells you how you’re really feeling,” Gabe told MTV News.
