David Hasselhoff has pulled out of co-hosting the MTV European Video Music Awards with former *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake because, even for the ‘Knight Rider’ star, the scripts were too cheesy. The Hoff was to have ripped off Timberblake’s shirt and say: “You need to get some more chest hairs like me.” He also was supposed to link-up where Timberlake was on stage while Hasselhoff was backstage in a jacuzzi, sipping bubbly with a bevy of babes while having a manicure.
David Hasselhoff took time to sign copies of his autobiography, ‘Making Waves’, and new single ‘Jump In My Car’ in London, proudly boasting the success of his latest music video for the song. “We found an alley, got three girls and a ‘Knight Rider’ car, shot this thing in literally four hours and it has been downloaded over 4,200,000 times,” The Hoff said. David Hasselhoff took part in a video chat at GM.TV, where he talked about his new single ‘Jump In My Car’, plans for a singing tour, the legacy of ‘Knight Rider’, crying during the finale of ‘American Idol’ and not because of Taylor Hicks’ win, and more. GM.tv has since removed the video.
The Sunday Mirror reports when former ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff was asked at a book signing in London’s Virgin Megastore if he’d like to date former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, Jordan, Jodie Marsh or Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy, he yelled: “God no. It’s Kate Beckinsale. And I’m also a fan of Aussie Cate Blanchett.”
David Hasselhoff is out with the music video to his new single ‘Jump In My Car’, a cover of the Ted Mulry Gang’s 1975 Australian hit which The Hoff filmed in Sydney. Watch it via YouTube below.
