Days Difference checked in with their Facebook fans earlier this evening to announce plans for a follow-up to their 2009 self-titled release. The American pop rock band write:

It’s official! We have just started writing our second album with Universal Motown. We can’t wait to get these songs recorded and out to you. Expect a release in mid 2011. Merry Christmas!

Jordin Sparks And Days Difference Exchange Silly String Surprises

Jordin Sparks exacted revenge on Days Difference after the pop rock band doused her in silly string in Kansas City recently. The ‘American Idol’ season six winner and her band snuck up on Days Difference while they were performing, but they were still able to carry on with their performance. Jeremy Smith Rated Best Smelling Days Difference Member

After a long rainy day in New York City, Days Difference visited Zach and Shelly of Goom’s Zang Radio on June 9th and were asked, “Who smells the best?” After Shelly sniffed the band’s members, she concluded that frontman Jeremy Smith “smells amazing” and gave him a 5, drummer Jonathan Smith “smelled like a laundry detergent” and was given a 4, bassist Micah Ricks “doesn’t smell like anything” so he got an undefined rating, and guitarist Jeremiah Ricks smelled “like women’s perfume” and was given a 4 1/2. She said Jeremy had the most pleasant smell of the band.

Days Difference are out with a video montage of the New York City and Philadelphia shows they played with Selena Gomez. The guys are seen driving through the chilly weather, rehearsing with the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star, goofing off for the camera, and performing.
