Delta Goodrem tells The Daily Telegraph the inspiration for her new comeback single ‘In This Life’ was her former Westlife singing lover Brian McFadden, who refueled her passion for singing and songwriting. “I have had my space away from people to deal with my personal demons and feelings. Now I’ve moved on and I don’t think about it,” Goodrem explained. “When my parents divorced, I never knew we would all end up in the places we have but I have to accept change and I’m ready to start again. This last couple of years I’ve grown a lot, I’ve traveled the world a lot on my own and I am much wiser and more capable to handle the pressures.” Read more.

Delta Goodrem Debuts ‘Flawed’ In Tokyo

Delta Goodrem debuted her new single ‘Flawed’ at a showcase in Tokyo on Wednesday (July 12). The track is featured on the soundtrack to ‘Adiantum Blue’, a romance starring Japanese actress Matsushita Nao, who was on hand to deliver Goodrem a bouquet of flowers after her five-song set. Nao’s character fights cancer in the film and Goodrem, who won her own battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2004, said she was inspired by the script when it was sent to her earlier this year. “It’s about love and life and a lot of people can relate to it in their own way,” Goodrem told the Herald Sun.

Delta Goodrem Drops Mom As Manager

The Daily Telegraph reports Delta Goodrem has dropped mother Lea as manager and signed with boyfriend singer Brian McFadden’s management, the London based Modest Entertainment. The 21-year-old star said it was a mutual decision for Lea to step back from steering her career, so they “can enjoy being mother and daughter.”
