Demi Lovato Thanks Fans After Amazing 16th Birthday

Demi Lovato talks about turning 16 and the Happy Birthday wishes she received from fans, as well as the concert slide show that made her cry on stage and a video from Selena GomezDemi Lovato checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace (@demilovato) on Thursday (August 21), a day after celebrating her 16th birthday. Demi writes:

So my birthday was absolutely incredible and the only things missing were my family and Selena (best friend) but! I will see them soon so it’s okay :)

I got the best gifts, and a lot of sentimental things like a slideshow, a rap made by my band… hahaha and lots of other awesome gifts.

But I wanted to give a special thanks to you guys which I just made in a YouTube video so be sure to check that out.. You all made my birthday so amazing.

Like I said, I wished for this every year.. so to being able to see so many of you all yesterday.. it meant the world to me.

With the YouTube video Demi posted, viewable below, she said, “Guess what, I am now 16, which is not that different than 15, but it’s cool, because yesterday I had the best birthday ever and now I won’t forget that I’m 16. You guys made my birthday so amazing with all the YouTube videos, with all the comments and everything on MySpace, just things like that. Also on web sites. I was checking out a lot of web sites and you guys were saying Happy Birthday.”

Demi continued, “It just really meant a lot to me and during the concert, you guys sang Happy Birthday to me twice and also there was a slide show my mom put together with one of my best friends Marissa and it was all sad and whatnot, and I was crying on stage which was kinda lame that I cried on stage, but whatever.”

Mentioning her famous friend, Demi added, “Also I wanted to say thank you Selena for the video and I wanted to cry when I saw it but instead I’m going to call you right now, so pick up your phone. To everyone that said Happy Birthday, thank you.”

Demi Lovato Talks About 16th Birthday, New Album & Video

Demi Lovato checks in from the tour bus ahead of her 16th birthdayDemi Lovato posted her last YouTube video as a 15-year-old on Tuesday (August 19). The ‘Camp Rock’ star, riding in her tour bus, talked about the 5-week countdown before her debut album ‘Don’t Forget’ is released, the release of her ‘Get Back’ video on Friday after the ‘The Cheetah Girls: One World’ premieres on the Disney Channel, and “having a lot of fun playing shows” with the Jonas Brothers.

“Just hanging out on my bus, which is why this (camera) is moving all over the place,” Demi explained. “In two hours, I turn 16, so I’m really really excited. My sweet 16 is tomorrow, and I’m really nervous, because I’ve never turned 16 before. Just kidding. Anyways, today was the beginning of the five week countdown until my album comes out, September 23rd, called ‘Don’t Forget’, so don’t forget. I’m really really excited for that.”

She added, “I’ve been having a lot of fun playing shows. You guys in the audience are awesome. I love you all.”

Demi Lovato updated fans on her MySpace blog (@demilovato) on Tuesday (August 19), the eve of the ‘Camp Rock’ star’s 16th birthday. The Jonas Brothers tourmate writes, “Tomorrow I turn 16 which is crazy, and what better way to spend it than getting to play a concert with some my closest friends?! It’s really a dream come true actually, because every year I’d blow out my birthday candles I’d wish to be doing this… getting to play music… getting to have fans… and tomorrow on my birthday I’m playing music to my fans! haha.. so I’m really excited!”

Jonas Brothers On The Cover Of Rolling Stone

The brand new issue of Rolling Stone magazine with Kevin, Joe and Nick of The Jonas Brothers on the cover is on newsstands today. Regarding Nick’s rumored romance with ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus, he tells Jason Gay, “There was a point in our lives when we were very close. We were neighbors when we were on tour together. It was good. Just really close. But it would crack me up. I would read these stories online, people saying things that were completely untrue.”

The excerpt and a behind the scenes video of the sibling pop trio’s cover shoot at rollingstone.com has since been removed.

Watch The Jonas Brothers Head To LAX

The first episode of Pepsi Smash’s ‘Being The Jonas Brothers’ has been posted at Yahoo! Music. The clip follows the sibling pop trio from their home in Los Angeles, accompanied by bodyguard Big Rob, headed to LAX and talking about their trip to London, England. Kevin, Joe and Nick were greeted by a paparazzo upon arrival to the airport.

The episode at Yahoo! Music has since been removed.

Demi Lovato, seen wearing a lot of makeup, talks about touring with the Jonas Brothers and the wardrobe she wears for her live setDemi Lovato checked in with fans on her YouTube channel after opening for the Jonas Brothers during their Burning Up Tour in Detroit on Saturday (July 5). The ‘Camp Rock’ star was in her dressing room and showed the wardrobe she wears during her set.

“I just finished actually, and it was really a lot of fun,” Demi said about her set. “It was a great crowd. We’re in Detroit today.”

“I had an awesome time today, and my dreams are coming true everyday that I’m on this tour,” Demi said closing the brief video. “And I have the Jonas Brothers to thank, but I also have you to thank. So come out to another show. Hopefully you get to see me all sweaty and nasty. Come out to a show and we’ll have a lot of fun.”

Demi Lovato Impersonates The Jonas Brothers

Selena Gomez introduced her best friend Demi Lovato, who offered her impersonations of her ‘Camp Rock’ co-stars, the Jonas Brothers siblings Joe, Nick, and Kevin, for Popstar! magazine.

Selena started the video saying, “Something you probably don’t know about Demi is she’s really good at doing a Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas impression, and it’s hilarious. She’s gonna kill me for saying that, but it’s awesome.”

“So I can do a slightly good impression of the Jonas Brothers,” Demi said. “They’re gonna kill me when they see this, or they might laugh. I hope you laugh. I love you guys.”

Demi Lovato ‘This Is Me’ Live Video Featuring The Jonas Brothers

Shineon-Media.com has on hand for the ‘Camp Rock’ Premiere After Party in New York City on Wednesday (June 11), where Demi Lovato performed ‘This Is Me’ from the film. Later in the performance, Demi was joined on stage by Kevin, Joe and Nick of the Jonas Brothers.
