and broke the ice on Twitter since the former best friends had a rather public falling out and Demi’s absence from the micro blogging service the last several months, as Demi sought help for her issues. Demi wrote on her Twitter account (@ddlovato) a reference to a song the two performed on the Disney Channel movie ‘Princess Protection Program’ called ‘One and the Same’:

Demi Lovato Gets Wrist Tattoos Dedicated To Her Fans

showed off her tattoos in a new video at Cambio, which she had done in honor of her fans while she was away seeking treatment. “The journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful to me, that I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten,” Demi explained about her Stay Strong heart tattoos. “I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you guys gave me and I will look at it every day and remember you guys be completely thankful for you.” Watch the message below.

Demi Lovato Thanks Fans For Support, Excited To Resume Work

The 18-year-old, who has been away from the public eye since November seeking medical treatment for “emotional and physical issues” thanked the fans for their support during what she calls “probably the darkest time in my life” and how she was excited to get back to work.

“The journey that I’ve been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues I know not only girls just my age but of all ages are dealing with,” Demi said in the video. “People that are probably watching this video now are dealing with the issues that I had to. I hope to one day raise awareness of everything so that I can help people too, just like you guys helped me through this rough time.”

‘Sonny’ Producers Rework Show As Demi Lovato Receives Treatment

Variety is reporting that the creators of ‘Sonny with a Chance’ are reworking the Disney Channel series to give its star time to seek treatment for her emotional and physical issues, while still being able to begin filming the new season in January if she’s unavailable. The show’s writers will focus on ‘Sonny with a Chance’s show-within-the-show ‘So Random!’, according to a Disney Channel spokeswoman. Producers are going to feature guest stars, musical performers and digital shorts to ‘So Random!’. Read more.

Dr. Drew Commends Brave Demi Lovato For Seeking Treatment

Dr. Drew Pinsky tells RadarOnline.com that ’s decision to seek treatment for “emotional and physical issues” should “absolutely be commended.” The ‘Celebrity Rehab’ host tells Radaronline.com, “For her to recognize that she is in trouble, really in a crisis state, and to voluntarily check into a treatment center is so brave of her to do. I have tremendous admiration for her. She is clearly trying to do the best thing for herself, and that is always a very good sign for her long term prognosis.”

Following news that had checked in for treatment for emotional and physical issues, fans of the ‘Sonny with a Chance’ star are blasting Ashley Greene, the woman began dating after breaking up with Demi. Several are alleging on Twitter that Ashley punched Demi which sparked the meltdown. TMZ reported Demi was in a physical altercation with a female member of her tour recently. Making Demi fans even more angry was a Twitter message Ashley posted just as the news about Demi was breaking saying, “Tonight. Was. Incredible.” Among the angry and threatening Tweets directed at Ashley:

’s rep tells People the 18-year-old has checked herself into a treatment center for “emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.” While the rep didn’t specify what the ‘Sonny with a Chance’ star was getting treated for, a source close to the Lovato family said, “She was bullied in school. She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. … Demi is taking control by getting help.” The decision forced Demi to drop out of the Jonas Brothers tour.
