Gia Farrell is out with the video to her new song ‘New Religion’. The 20-year-old, who was dropped by Atlantic Records in December 2007, writes on her MySpace (@giafarrell) that she’s working on a new album.

Video at YouTube has since been removed.

The Click Five keyboardist Ben Romans and fellow Atlantic recording artist Gia Farrell star in the holiday short musical ‘Miracle on Bedford Avenue’, a tale of MySpace love, fabulous elves, and merriment. The clip is set in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and the North Pole of course. Watch it via YouTube below.

When asked, 17-year-old Gia Farrell says, “Mariah Carey is the vocalist I most look up to,” and Atlantic’s senior VP of marketing Livia Tortella compares her young songster to the superstar. “She’s got a lot in common with Mariah Carey in terms of her scope,” Tortella tells “She makes such a strong impression just walking into a room and singing with no back-up, with no production.
