People magazine reports Isaac Hanson, oldest brother in pop band Hanson, has married his longtime girlfriend Nicole Dufresne at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa Oklahoma on Saturday.

The following message was posted on Hanson’s official website: “Taylor and wife Natalie are proud to welcome their third child, son River Samuel Hanson, born September 4th in Tulsa OK. Said Taylor of River’s birth ‘River is an incredible addition to our family, we could not be happier.’”

Hanson posted an update on their official website Hanson.net about what they have been doing lately. “What’s goin’ on. Hey from the studio again. Writing and recording are moving along. We are working with great producer Danny Kortchmar that we worked with on the songs ‘Penny and Me’ and also ‘Every Word I Say’. It is great to have a partner in crime that shares our passion. We will start giving you some little snipitz into the music through our video and other posts on the site, ROCK ITZ.”

Isaac Hanson spoke with the York Daily Record to respond to the ‘Stop the Bop’ Hurricane Katrina fundraiser at Delone Catholic High School, where the shool’s student council set out to annoy the money out of students and teachers by playing Hanson’s 1996 hit ‘MMMBop’ in the hallways. “We found it amusing,” Isaac said Monday in a phone interview from Los Angeles. “Any creative way to raise money is a good thing.” He added, “Anything we can do as people is really what makes a difference.” The band matched the more than $3,000 that the students raised, and provided all 659 students with a copy of their CD ‘Underneath’, released in 2004.
