Hilary Duff and Haylie Duff are the stars of a new Ice Breakers Liquid Ice television commercial, launched on Thursday at a media event in New York City that captured their more-than-agreeable disagreement. “We agree on absolutely everything, especially the importance of fresh breath,” said Hilary. “So when she thought that Ice Breakers Liquid Ice was liquid and I thought it was ice, well I knew she had to be right … and she knew I had to be right!” Haylie said, “One thing we’re both right about: Ice Breakers Liquid Ice totally rocks!”

Haylie Duff Chats With Jackie & Bender

Haylie Duff phoned into KISS 106.1 FM in Seattle to chat with Jackie & Bender. They talked about Hilary Duff’s performance at the station’s Christmas show, which she attended as well. Haylie talked about changing her hair color, Hilary’s entourage, her recurring role in ‘Joan Of Arcadia’, and wrapped up with the lightning round, where she basically made it obvious she was no fan of Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton. Hilary Duff Looks Up To Big Sister Haylie

ABC’s Rollercoaster spoke with Hilary Duff in a Q&A and asked the teen queen who she looks up to and who gives her ideas and inspiration. “I’ve never looked up to anyone in the business like ‘Oh, I want to be just like them’,” Duff responded. “There’s definitely people I respect and that I think are really cool. But I’ve always looked up to my sister [Haylie Duff]. She’s three years older than me and we’re like best friends. She’s never done anything totally outlandish and we’ve always been really close to my parents and she’s just been a really good role model for me to look up to. She’s really cool, she wrote two songs on my album and she’s really talented! And I love her and I miss her! (Laughs) I also love Dido and Nelly Furtado and people who are really into their music like that. And I love Renee Zellweger.”

Caresse Henry Quits Managing Madonna

Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reports that Caresse Henry, who has been Madonna’s manager for 13 years, is quitting. “As I understand it, she’s not thrilled about the direction that Madonna’s interests have been taking her,” a source revealed. “Besides, 13 years is a long time and Madonna’s a demanding boss.” Read more.

November 6, 2004 – MTV News reports that Hilary Duff and her sister Haylie Duff have signed on to star in ‘Material Girls’, where they will play sibling heiresses who lose their father’s fortune in the wake of a scandal and are forced to fend for themselves in the real world. Haylie Duff Always Has Hilary’s Back

Hilary Duff was featured in Seventeen, and she discussed her rise to fame and her sister. Hilary insists that Haylie has helped Hilary in Hollywood gossip. “I hate those people who critisize what people wear,” she said. “I feel pressure to fit into my clothes. I can’t tell you how many times Haylie comes back from auditions and is like, ‘Oh my gosh, I was sitting in a room where all these girls were talking about Hilary and what a joke she was. They’ll be like, ‘She’s not talented-I should have gotten that role! Haylie leans over and will be like, ‘Oh, hi, I’m Haylie, Hilary’s sister.’ Haylie always has my back.”

Hilary Duff Causes Commotion At Mall Of America

CJ of The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that on Sunday afternoon (August 1), before taking the stage for her Target Center concert, Hilary Duff reportedly hit the Mall of America in the company of a gigantic bodyguard, her big sister and opening act, Haylie Duff, and their dad. The foursome shopped at Abercrombie & Fitch, Limited Too and Express. CJ added that Duff “was just a doll, sweet as can be.” One spy reports that as Duff was made by fans who probably noticed that bodyguard behemoth first, cell phones were furiously whipped out and frantic sounds of numbers being punched could be heard.
