Hear’Say Sales Open Awfully

The Sun reports Hear’Say have debuted on the album charts at a horrible #20 with only 9,443, which compares against 306,631 for their debut album’s first week. A spokesman admits, “The market is incredibly hard at the moment but we are still hoping for some good sales in the run up to Christmas. If we had brought this out in the summer these sales would easily have given it a No1.”

Elton Apologizes To Hear’Say For Ugly Comment

The Sun reports apologized to Hear’Say when he ran into the band at Monday’s Royal Variety Performance for his comments to the Sun in September calling Hear’Say “The ugliest band I’ve ever seen. Danny looks like Shrek. I feel sorry for them.” At the time, Myleene Klass was very unhappy at the comments and fired back, “When he-s finished playing with his wig he can talk about us being ugly. I was really upset.”

Hear’Say Near Completion on 2nd Album

Dotmusic reports manufactured UK pop band Hear’Say are just about through recording their second album entitled ‘Everybody’ with a planned December release date. A single bearing the same name will be released first off the album that their label calls a formation of the “is a who’s who of all the best writers and producers.” Hear’Say have sold 1.2 million copies of debut album ‘Popstars’.

Hear’Say August Search Queries

The August search queries on Goto.com for Hear’Say are out and the band has a rather small total of 4,572 searches for ‘Hear’Say’. As for the individual band members, Suzanne Shaw is the clear leader with 1,175 searches, with Myleene Klass at #2 with 333. Kym Marsh had only 100 searches, and Noel Sullivan had 75. Danny Foster didn’t make the 25 search query limit to even get listed.
